I’m Britt, hairstylist, salon owner, wife, and dog mom to Olive. I’ve been working in the industry for over 23 years now. I was born and raised right here in Whatcom County. After attending cosmetology school in Shoreline, WA, I did some traveling and then settled back into Bellingham. I worked in salons at the waterfront, Downtown, Fairhaven, and finally, opened my own little salon here in Barkley Village.
Education is crucial to keep up with trends and deliver the results that my clients are looking for. I continue perfecting my skills by attending courses in cutting, coloring, styling, balayage and behind the scenes salon business. I have been fortunate enough to travel to classes and seminars from coast to coast.
Specializing in grey coverage and French Balayage, I especially enjoy creating soft and natural-looking haircolor.
I enjoy regularly visiting Maui with my husband and have chosen Aloha as my theme for a reason. I want your experience to feel comfortable, calm, and well,

Grey Coverage or Single Tone Color
One color applied either at the root only or through the lengths of the hair.

Root coverage with added dimensional highlights or lowlights with multiple colors. Customizable and the most natural looking way to color grey hair.

Highlighting service using foils to achieve bright, dimensional colors with contrast.

French Balayage
A customized approach to highlighting the hair. Color or lightener is swept on the surface of the hair to create a natural, sunkissed look. Lighter and brighter face framing pieces stand out alongside surface painted highlights for lived-in beachy vibes.

Grey Transitioning/ Blending
I can help you transition from high maintenance hair color.
Options can include blending grey with foils and highlights, or going back to 100% natural "unpigmented" hair. Trust the process. Trust me. I'll get you there.

FAQ's
"I don't see anything open on your calendar for 8 weeks, can you squeeze me in sooner?"
-No, but if you secure a spot in the future, then I can add you to my waitlist and let you know if something opens beforehand.
"I need to change or cancel my upcoming appointment. How soon can you reschedule me?"
-I do my best to fit you in within a reasonable time-frame. However, Saturday and evening appointments are very limited. I put you on top of my waitlist, and more often than not, something works out.
"Can you cut my husband or child's hair while my color is processing?"
-Unfortunately, I am not able to provide this service. I like to focus my attention on you, and I believe double booking takes away from the relaxed experience I provide.
"Do you offer discounts on your services or products?"
-I do offer discounts on Loma products as they come available! There are great liter sales in the summer. I don't discount my services, however.
"You're so busy, and I really need an appointment soon! Can you recommend another stylist or salon?
-I always recommend my two co-workers Rene and Ellie. They are quite busy as well, but it's great to check with them first. If you need to be seen within a few weeks, check in with me to get a personal referral.
